.

Tell Citywealth readers a bit about your role.
I am a Senior Manager in RSM US’s International Tax and Transfer Pricing practice. I lead our Northeast transfer pricing practice and RSM’s Brazil tax efforts through our LATAM Desk. I help multinational businesses and private equity firms navigate cross-border tax issues, particularly when their operations, transactions or investments span several countries.
What does a typical day look like for you?
No two days are quite the same. On any given day, I may advise a client on a complex international structure, develop a new opportunity, coach members of our team and coordinate with RSM colleagues across several countries. Much of my role involves connecting the right people and perspectives, then turning a complicated issue into a practical plan.
Tell us about some recent, interesting client instructions/requests you have received.
One recent engagement involved helping a global business plan its next phase of growth, including where its intellectual property and key functions should sit and how future investment and returns should be allocated. We brought together the commercial, tax and transfer pricing perspectives to create a sustainable global model. For founder-led and privately owned groups, decisions like these can shape enterprise value and ultimately the owners’ broader wealth and succession plans.
What challenges do your clients face and how are you helping them to overcome them?
Clients are making global investment and business decisions amid political change, economic volatility, evolving tax regimes and heightened scrutiny. These forces influence where capital is deployed, where businesses locate key functions and intellectual property, and how owners plan for the future. I help clients look beyond the immediate tax answer, evaluate the broader risks and opportunities, and develop cross-border strategies that remain practical and resilient as circumstances change.
What is your proudest professional achievement?
I am proud of the international career I have built across Brazil, London Boston and New York, and of using that experience to help grow RSM’s business and develop others. Building a practice is ultimately about building relationships. Seeing colleagues I have mentored gain confidence, take ownership and become trusted advisors is one of the most rewarding parts of my career.
What do you consider to be the most important attributes for a leader?
Integrity, self-awareness, sound judgment and accountability. Strong leaders understand their own strengths and blind spots, listen to different perspectives and adapt when needed. They set a clear direction and make difficult decisions, while bringing people together and creating opportunities for others. The best leaders leave both the business and the people around them stronger.
Who do you most admire and why?
As cliché as it may sound, my parents. Their work ethic, perseverance and devotion to our family have shaped how I approach both my career and my life. They taught me to work hard, stay grounded and never take an opportunity, or the people who helped create it, for granted.
Where was the last place you travelled to for work or pleasure?
Maine and Cape Cod with my husband and our three-year-old son this summer. Our days revolved around beaches, boats, seafood and plenty of toddler-selected stops. Travelling with a three-year-old may not be especially relaxing, but his excitement makes even the simplest experience feel like an adventure.
If you weren’t in this industry, what else might you be doing?
Potentially something involving food, perhaps working as a food writer or pastry chef. I love cooking, baking and discovering great restaurants, although I suspect the idea of owning a bakery is considerably more relaxing than the reality would be.
How do you relax after a long day?
I cook, share a good meal with my husband and spend time with our son. Once the house is quiet, I also enjoy reading or planning our next trip.
