Glamour venue in Central London
The group were treated to champagne and Earl Grey Martini’s which are a speciality at The Arch London Hotel, which is a newly opened five star boutique hotel with circa eighty rooms. Owned by AB Hotels, which is a family owned business, it contains hundreds of thousands of pounds of British art commissioned especially for the launch, private suites and a bespoke martini cabinet in The Library. The Library is also full of original Taschen books. The Arch Hotel offers easy eats with burgers or fish pie or more elegant line caught sea bass in its Hunter 486 bar. It already has stars such as Madonna visiting and recently the Irish football team.
Harvard Review said that Women must receive accolades early in their career
The evening was a roaring success with guests chatting furiously about the issues that surround women in business and also about philanthropic initiatives aimed at girls and women. Guests learned that a fact attributed to Harvard Review said that Women must receive accolades early in their career and ongoing in order to strive for greater success. The group also learned that Lord Puttnam, who runs a female charitable group has found research that says women generally do not put their hands up to ask questions at conferences and in large groups something that Citywealth noted and so has moved to a “quieter” format for this group with smaller tables and moderators to help initiate questions.
Goody bags
After two hours and many martini’s, guests headed off with goody bags which included offers from Nordic Balance, a new gym and personal training operation at the In and Out Club in St James’s, an invitation to attend a party at The Chelsea Day Spa to have cupcakes and champagne and to see the new Atelier Annick handbags which the likes of Cheryl Cole are sporting and Nosh detox included some of their detoxing bath sea salts and morning muesli to set our guests on a path to well being happiness. Helen Watson of Rothschilds was also the lucky winner of a Belle Fontaine face cream box worth £450 donated by Wiamm Mati, their UK Agent.
“Winning business in the Middle East“. The format will be a speaker at a sit down presentation. Tables of ten with a moderator at each table to discuss the issues raised, then group answers and questions and a break for networking and cocktails. Light bites will be served and all costs are included in the yearly membership fee.
Chatham House Rules apply which means no comments or quotes may be attributed outside the group to specific individuals.
