ZEDRA, the fast-growing global specialist in Corporate, Global Expansion, Active Wealth, Pensions & Incentives services as well as Fund Solutions, announcing its continued partnership with the Guernsey Music Centre.

ZEDRA is pleased to announce that it is partnering for the second year with the Guernsey Music Centre, which is run by the Guernsey Music Service.

The Guernsey Music Service supports the development of young musicians by offering individual and group lessons, running whole class music programmes which complement the curriculum offered by schools and colleges, and by creating opportunities for pupils to attend workshops and concerts. The Service works closely with schools, colleges and music groups on the Island, such as the Guernsey Symphony Orchestra, Guernsey Camerata and the Elizabeth College Summer Orchestral Course (ECSOC).

Over the course of 2022, ZEDRA donated £10k to the Service to support its operation. The funds were used to purchase four choral risers for the hundreds of children aged 6 to 18 which attend the Guernsey Music Centre on a weekly basis.

The announcement is in line with ZEDRA’s long-standing commitment to use music to provide equal opportunities for – and support the development of – young musicians to help them reach their full potential whist also preparing the workforce of tomorrow. It follows the firm’s 2020 partnership with World Heart Beat Music Academy, an Embassy Gardens, Nine Elms based charity which provides music tuition and performances opportunities or 350 young people each year outside of school hours. Thanks to ZEDRA’s funding, the charity was able to create a jazz talent development programme for young musicians from underprivileged background aged 14 – 25 years.
