Why winning once isn’t the end of the Powerwomen Awards story

Entries are now open for the Citywealth Powerwomen Awards 2027, with the International awards and the USA awards closing on 9 September.
You can nominate someone you think should be recognised, make a free Express Entry, or submit a full entry with supporting information. Previous winners can enter again, and a look through recent results shows that many do.

International: 15 years of Citywealth Powerwomen
The Citywealth Powerwomen Awards International were founded in London in 2014 and looking at results from 2020 to 2026, some of the same women and firms feature repeatedly, often in different categories.
Marina Zevedeou, CEO of The Aspen Trust Group recognition includes Gold for Woman of the Year, Leadership in 2022 and Gold for Mentor of the Year in both 2023 and 2025. In 2023 alone, she received three awards. She was recognised again in 2024 and received Bronze for Woman of the Year, Leadership in 2026.
Melanie Goodman of Trevisan won Gold for Career Initiative in 2023 and Gold for Entrepreneurial Woman of the Year in 2024, followed by Silver for Entrepreneurial Woman of the Year in both 2025 and 2026.
Chloe Leung of Zhong Lun received two Gold awards in 2023, including Rising Star, followed by Gold for Career Initiative in 2024. She was Silver for Woman of the Year, Professional Services in 2025 and Bronze for Inspirational Woman of the Year in 2026.
Zoë Bloom of AFP Bloom moved from Silver for Entrepreneurial Woman of the Year, Professional Services in 2025 to Gold for Inspirational Woman of the Year in 2026.
The pattern can also be seen across firms. Ogier’s recognised women include Kate Kirk and Rachael Reynolds in 2020, Sally Edwards in 2021, Reynolds again in 2022, and Tiffany Tolliss and Helen Ruelle in 2023. Three Ogier women took Gold in 2025: Rebecca McNulty as Champion of the Year, Deborah Barker Roye as Inspirational Woman of the Year and Diana Rodriguez as Rising Star. In 2026, Grace Gao won Gold for Rising Star IFC and Sandie Lyne won Gold for Woman of the Year, IFC.
The JTC Group also has several names across the results. Marina Cristiani won Gold for Business Growth, Fiduciary Services in 2023, when JTC received Bronze for Best Employer, Career Progression. In 2024, Nic Arnold and Julie Zingiloglu took Gold and Jodi Hill received Bronze.
USA: coming back to compete – year 4
The Powerwomen Awards USA are entering Year 4, but repeat recognition is already appearing in the results.
Ronni G. Davidowitz of Katten won Gold for Woman of the Year, USA in 2025 and returned in 2026 to take Gold for Inspirational Woman of the Year. Her colleague Kathryn von Matthiessen went from Silver for Inspirational Woman of the Year in 2025 to Gold for Woman of the Year, Business Growth in 2026.
Francesca Boschini, Head of International Wealth Planning and Head of Insurance Solutions for the Americas at Deutsche Bank Wealth Management, took one of the biggest titles in 2026, Gold Woman of the Year, USA.
The awards also recognise those supporting women’s progress: mentors and champions. Joshua Rubenstein, Partner and Global Chair of Private Wealth at Katten, received the Patron of Progress award in 2026.
There are repeat stories at firm level too. Fiduciary Trust International took Silver for Organisation of the Year, Female Leadership in 2025 and Gold in 2026. Ellen Kratzer was Gold Mentor of the Year in 2025, while Lisette Cooper was Gold Champion of the Year in 2026.
Holland & Knight has seen recognition spread across its team. Christina N. Cahill received Silver in 2025. In 2026, Carolina M. Nuche took Gold for Next-Gen Woman of the Year, Shari A. Levitan took Gold for Woman of the Year, Boston, and Shaina Kamen received Silver for Woman of the Year, Business Growth.
From the Forum to the USA awards
The Powerwomen Awards USA follow the Citywealth Forum USA in New York, bringing the awards into a wider day focused on the issues facing the private wealth industry.
The 2027 Forum will cover the movement of wealthy families, dynasty trusts, succession, alternative assets, sports ownership and the international art market. Rebecca Jones, former BBC Arts Correspondent and Chief News Presenter, is flying in from London to moderate the Forum and host the Powerwomen Awards.
The programme moves into champagne and networking at 5pm, followed by the Powerwomen Awards at 5.30pm and a further networking reception afterwards.
Who should enter?
You do not need to wait for someone else to put your name forward. You can enter yourself, nominate a colleague or someone in the industry, or put forward women across your firm.
There are also different ways to enter. The free Express Entry provides a quick route into the awards, while entrants who want to give the judges more information can submit a full entry with supporting detail.
Previous recognition is no reason to sit out 2027. Recent results include Gold winners returning to win Gold again, Silver winners taking Gold, individuals being recognised in different categories and firms seeing different members of their teams among the winners.
