Munazza Hollingsworth

What does a typical day look like for you?

I am an early riser so will usually be up around 5am/5.30am to have a nice cup of coffee in peace and when it is still warm. I will look at my diary and plan my day and work required. My daughter, a ‘fournager’, will usually wake up around 7am (on a good day) and I will get her fed and ready for pre-school. I may then work for a few hours from home or head into the office which is a lovely 35 minute walk.

Tell us about some recent, interesting client instructions/requests you have received.

Being a Private Client solicitor can be very varied, from planning for the future to ensuring things get sorted out when the future is imminent to end soon.

One of my recent interesting instructions was to propound a Will and looking into the circumstances surrounding the existence of a rather unexplainable Will.

What challenges do your clients face and how are you helping your clients to overcome them?

I am extremely fortunate to deal with a variety of clients and from different stages in their lives. It is very rare that a ‘one size fits all’ approach can be taken. which makes the job even more interesting,

What is your proudest professional achievement?

Having started up my own law firm – MH Private Wealth Solicitors

What do you consider to be the most important attributes for a leader?

Empathy, clear directions, organisation and the drive to continue when things do not go the wany you want them to

Who do you most admire and why?

There are so many people I admire and the impact they have on me, with the courage, support, guidance and positivity.

Where was the last place you travelled to for work or pleasure?

Singapore – it was work and pleasure!

If you weren’t in this industry, what else might you be doing?

Probably have my Asian fusion wedding dress shop 😊

How do you relax after a long day?

My day ends when my daughter is asleep, which sometimes is a job itself. When I do get some down time, I like to cook and go out with friends. I am also a very keen runner, despite all the injuries.
