Citywealth Leaders List: Top 20 LATAM Advisors and Managers 2026

Latin America remains one of the most complex regions for private wealth management, driven by economic volatility, tax reform and increasing regulatory scrutiny. Ultra-high-net-worth families are increasingly structuring assets across multiple jurisdictions, with cross-border tax planning, estate structuring and succession now standard practice. International financial centres such as Miami, New York and London continue to play a central role, alongside regional advisors. As family offices grow and next-generation clients take a more global approach, the focus has shifted towards transparency, resilience and long-term asset protection. The professionals recognised in Citywealth’s Top 20 LATAM Advisors and Managers 2026 reflect this shift, operating at the intersection of local regulation and international wealth planning. Citywealth recently discussed this topic at their Citywealth FORUM USA – Leading the Conversation on Latin America’s Wealth Evolution. The next Forum USA is set for 10th March 2027.

Citywealth has released its Top 20 LATAM Advisors and Managers 2026, recognising individuals working at the centre of private wealth, tax and estate planning for Latin American clients. Latin America remains a complex environment for wealth. Inflation, political change and shifting tax rules continue to drive how families structure and hold assets. For many, wealth is no longer tied to one country, but spread across jurisdictions, currencies and legal systems.

Cross-border planning has become standard. Advisors are coordinating trusts, companies and family structures across Latin America, the US and Europe, often while navigating increasing scrutiny and disclosure requirements. International centres such as Miami, New York and London remain closely linked to Latin American wealth, with global firms working alongside regional specialists. Tax is the main trigger for change. Reforms and enforcement are pushing families to revisit long-standing arrangements, with a clear shift towards structures that are sustainable under scrutiny rather than simply efficient. At the same time, family offices are becoming more common as wealth becomes more international and more complex. Succession planning, governance and next-generation involvement are now central to advisory work.

The individuals in this year’s list reflect that shift. Many operate across borders, advising on tax, estate planning and long-term asset protection for globally mobile families.
