Thomas is responsible for the strategic oversight and direction of Ogier Global’s existing private wealth and corporate offering in Guernsey as its Managing Director. He leads the client relationship management in Guernsey, ongoing business development initiatives and also oversees the day-to-day management of a focused team of respected administration professionals, who are experienced in administering complex and more straightforward solutions in partnership with clients and their advisers.
Thomas has more than 25 years of experience within the Guernsey fiduciary sector, establishing and managing wealth management structures and relationships across various asset classes for high-net-worth individuals, their families, corporates and institutional clients.
Prior to joining Ogier Global, Thomas held the position of Managing Director of a Governance Services firm in Guernsey since its establishment in 2014. He has acted as a director of various client entities, including complex private wealth structures, large commercial and residential real estate investment vehicles.
Thomas is a qualified trust and estate practitioner (TEP) having obtained the Diploma in International Trust Management (Dip ITM) through STEP: The Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners. He is also a member of the Institute of Directors (MIOD) and holds chartered membership as an Associate (ACG) of ICSA: The Chartered Governance Institute.
I have always found Thomas to be professional, diligent and trustworthy and act with integrity at all times. He has a strong technical knowledge in his field of expertise and constantly strives to enhance his skill set and keep up to date with legislative changes. He is an excellent people manager and played a key role in mentoring the more junior team members during the time I worked with him. I have more recently watched him grow a strong team at Mourant which is testament to his leadership skills. Thomas is pragmatic when dealing with matters and a pleasure to work with.
