Advising in large scale trust disputes and restructuring
Sarah has been advising an international trust company on a complex restructuring of a family trust structure worth US$1 billion to enable key family members to relocate to the US and allow the structure to become multi-generational. She was also involved in a significant breach of trust litigation before the Royal Court of Jersey involving catastrophic loss of trust monies including negotiating a multi-party settlement with claimants and insurers on behalf of the trust company client; and has been advising a Swiss professional trustee in connection with a high value dispute with beneficiaries from a household name family involving the ownership of an internationally well-known business.
