Co-worker review:
Rachel is an inspiring leader who leads with compassion. She has a natural ability to bring people together, whether that is in the office or a team of legal professionals. Perhaps what matters most is that she doesn’t just talk about values, she lives them, making people feel supported and motivated to do their best.

Private Client review:
I was unfortunate enough to go through an acrimonious, extremely stressful divorce, involving significant assets as well as a business. I am so glad to have had Rachel by my side throughout the process - she provided excellent advice, support, and guidance, resulting in an outcome that I felt was fair and reasonable. My case was complicated because of the assets and the business, but she is very skilled at cutting through the extraneous details to reach, understand, and analyse the key points of the case. Her communication was also exemplary, I always felt like I was a priority to her, and the rest of her team. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to others.

Private Client review:
Rachel was everything I could have wanted and needed from a solicitor through this very difficult time, a solicitor who I really felt understood the case and the emotional attachment to and turmoil that I was personally going through. Myself and family trusted her throughout the whole process, feeling comfortable being guided by her professional opinion and honest judgement throughout, ultimately leading to a result I could be happy with. With Rachel, you feel like she is working tirelessly to help you achieve the result you and she wants. Her efficiency and speed at replying meant I was never left nervously waiting for a response during particularly difficult periods of the process. Her paralegal, Emma Hawkins, was also consistently there to provide support and advice and was an integral part of the team. Rachel's guidance in finding the right barrister for court also proved instrumental in helping us reach the final financial settlement.

Peer review:
I work regularly with Rachel in relation to financial proceedings on divorce, especially in complex cases involving high-net--worth individuals. Rachel always knows her cases inside out, is highly efficient and will always go the extra mile. She has an excellent manner with people which puts her clients at ease in difficult circumstances whilst also giving them the confidence that they have someone on their side who has the determination and skill to get the best possible result.

Private Client review:
Rachel Buckley's talents as a lawyer are testament to both her intelligence and her empathy. Rachel has the ability to deliver advice regarding complex legal issues in simple understandable terms and brings a calmness to any situation instilling the same, together with confidence, in her clients. This is a rare commodity and is particularly valuable in someone practising family law. Equally importantly, Rachel remembers that you are above all a person and not just a client, which helps to give you a sense of being part of the process and the solution rather than simply a bystander while the lawyers 'sort it out for you?. In addition, I know Rachel to be a competent and successful business person who brings commercial acumen, good sense as well as a human perspective to The Family Law Co. I can say, without hesitation, that I would recommend Rachel to anyone seeking legal services.

Invalid pre-nuptial agreement
Rachel advised a wife in a case where the assets totalled ¬£20 million. The assets consisted of a number of hotels and luxury possessions such as luxury cars and helicopter. The marriage was short with a pre-nuptial agreement signed a day before the wedding. The Pre Nuptial Agreement limited the Wife‘s claim to a sum which fell far below her housing needs. It did not provide for her income needs. Rachel successfully agreed that the PNA was invalid. The assets were valued. The Wife received a sum sufficient to purchase a luxury home, a sum for her to invest, the children‘s school fees paid and spousal maintenance of a significant sum for life.
