Helen has an innate ability to put a client at ease in even the most difficult of circumstances. Having been instructed by her in a tricky international enforcemement matter I was able to witness the masterful way Helen was able to both reassure and manage the expectations of her lay client. She is completely on top of her game, and fights her client's corner fearlessly, but wears her learning lightly and is the model of sensible pragmatism.

Representative matters include:
- Helen acted for a mother with a young child and assisted her to work through the issues she had with the father to ensure they could safely continue their co-parenting relationship after an abusive relationship and a difficult separation.
- She also worked with a father to resolve his financial issues whilst ensuring his relationship with his son remained intact. As part of this, the volatile relationship he had with the mother needed to be recognised and Helen had to ensure that any safety issues needed to be at the forefront of any decisions.
