Quillon Law announces the appointment of commercial litigation specialist Abigail Healey to the firm’s partnership. Abigail’s appointment reflects the continuing growth of Quillon Law, representing the firm’s second partner hire in the two years since the firm was founded by leading litigators Michael Barnett and Mark Hastings.

Abigail has particular expertise in contractual and warranty disputes, contentious trusts and civil fraud claims. Alongside her commercial litigation practice, Abigail also specialises in reputation management and information law, including breach of confidence, data protection, defamation and privacy matters. Abigail first joined the firm in October 2022 as a consultant.

Abigail has acted for both national and international clients, including high-net-worth individuals and corporates, in claims before the High Court, Court of Appeal and Supreme Court. She also has experience in arbitration, together with other means of dispute resolution, such as mediation, expert determination and adjudication.

Her appointment highlights Quillon Law’s continued expansion, and the firm’s status as a rapidly growing brand in the international commercial litigation market. Established in October 2021, Quillon Law added commercial disputes specialist Nicola McKinney as a partner in October 2022.

Abigail commented: “I am delighted to be joining the partnership at Quillon Law. The breadth and depth of the firm’s cases, together with the culture developed by Michael and Mark, has made Quillon Law one of London’s most exciting and fastest growing commercial disputes boutiques.”

Partner Michael Barnett commented: “Abigail’s knowledge and experience has already made her an invaluable asset to the firm. Her tremendous contribution to a number of our important cases has made her joining the partnership a natural next step, and we look forward to continuing to work alongside her as Quillon Law continues to develop in the international commercial litigation market.
