The fair will gather 67 international galleries from 20 countries, ranging from historic design masters to contemporary innovators.

New voices

This year introduces 11 debut exhibitors. Beirut’s PIK’D becomes PAD’s first participant from the Middle East, while NM Art & Design from Limassol marks Cyprus’ debut. New York’s Friedman Benda joins with playful works by Najla El Zein, Fernando Laposse, Misha Kahn and Faye Toogood. Paris’ Pulp Galerie will spotlight Gaetano Pesce, while Sceners Gallery pairs a Carlo Bugatti console with abstract painting by Jean Degottex.

London’s Guild of Saint Luke collaborates with Galerie Rinck on Art Deco reinterpretations, and Zigzag Modern (Tetbury) brings classics from Georges Nakashima, Alvar Aalto and Gerrit Rietveld. New jewellery exhibitors include London-based Brazilian designer Fernando Jorge and Paris’ Second Pétale.

Contemporary design

London’s Gallery FUMI will show ceramic chairs by Max Lamb with Stoke-on-Trent’s 1882 Ltd and new work by San Francisco artist Jesse Schlesinger. Brussels’ Objects With Narratives stages an immersive bronze lighting display by Vladimir Slavov, while Sarah Myerscough Gallery presents wooden vessels by Ernst Gamperl.

Milan’s Nilufar Gallery offers a dual presentation, including a new collection by Delhi-based Vikram Goyal. London’s Adrian Sassoon features fine silver by Junko Mori, and Mumbai’s Æquō highlights Indian metal-casting traditions.

Historic highlights

The fair remains a platform for rare 20th century design. Portuondo Gallery shows works by Italian modernist Gustavo Pulitzer alongside a Fernand Léger painting. Gallery B.R features Jean Prouvé’s rare “Aile d’Avion” desk. Brazil Modernist celebrates woodcraft traditions with pieces by Joaquim Tenreiro and Jorge Zalszupin. Rose Uniacke will offer an Alvar Aalto dining ensemble, on the market for the first time.

Jewellery innovation

Seven jewellery houses will exhibit. Elie Top presents Liaisons Dangereuses, inspired by the Enlightenment. Karry Berreby shows vintage Bulgari, while Munich’s Hemmerle unveils bold combinations of gemstones, metals and wood. New York’s Taffin, founded by James de Givenchy, brings its distinctive boundary-pushing designs.

London fixture

Founded in 2007 by Parisian dealer Patrick Perrin, PAD London is the UK’s only fair dedicated exclusively to design. Held each October during Frieze week, it attracts collectors, curators and design specialists. Its sister fair, PAD Paris, launched in 1998, takes place every April.

The 2025 edition opens for collectors and press on 14 October, with a VIP opening on 15 October. Public days run 16–19 October. Tickets will be available at padesignart.com.

From Bugatti consoles and Aalto furniture to experimental ceramics and contemporary jewellery, PAD London 2025 promises a global conversation between design’s past and future.
