Hakim is also a judge in the Citywealth IFC awards this year. In tune with the global economic environment which has seen debt restructuring take centre stage, Hakim says he has been involved with “debt refinancing at trust level and also the sale of real estate worth EUR 200+ million held in a trust structure.” A Private client review of his work said “Hakim is an excellent advisor and business partner. Alice Dumoitier, Client Services Director, Equiom, Jersey

Alice is a qualified accountant with 20 staff in her department but with 550 overall. She manages key clients and oversees a number of teams for quality control purposes. Equiom headquartered in the Isle of Man is now shifting its axis to Jersey in the Channel Islands. She says she sits on the “board of a Private Trust Company (PTC) for a family trust and says, “contentious issues have involved divorcing beneficiaries and negotiating settlements.” Another sign of the economic times. Her industry experience is 17 years.

Alex Gardner, COO, Affinity Group, Isle of Man

Affinity Group are ahead of the game in many industries and recently opened in Cayman. eGaming and crypto are two fields that they have substantial knowledge in, which is supported by the Isle of Man government and financial services laws which includes new Token Based Software Supplier Licence. She says she gives “advice to clients on the regulatory environment, including assistance on navigating corporate, legal, AML and compliance requirements.” A peer review said “Alex has fantastic knowledge and experience in numerous sectors especially eGaming, Fintech and corporate structures. Sara Schroter, Managing Director, Meritus Trust, Bermuda

With thirty years in the industry and 42 staff in Singapore, Wendy has a key position with Asian families. Her recent work involved helping resolve a “family business’s disputed succession plan.”
