J O Hambro Capital Management hires Nikolaos Dimakis as Senior Data Scientist

Active asset manager J O Hambro Capital Management (JOHCM) are pleased to announce the appointment of Nikolaos (Nikos) Dimakis as Senior Data Scientist. Nikolaos joins from Federated Hermes where he was a Quantitative Analyst and joins JOHCM to support Head of Investments Andrew Parry. Nikolaos’ role will focus on managing and developing tools to utilize data better in order to support investment teams in JOHCM and its impact investing arm Regnan.
Nikolaos most recently served as a Quantitative Analyst at Federated Hermes, where he was responsible for building tools to leverage data in order to improve processes around ESG Integration.
Andrew Parry, JOHCM’s Head of Investments, said:
“Hiring Nikos is our first step into more systematically using data in our investment processes. There is a tremendous volume of data out there for us to leverage, however separating the signal and the noise is crucial for finding value in it. Nikos brings a huge amount of experience and expertise to help us make huge leaps in this area”.
Commenting on his new role Nikolaos said:
“I am extremely proud to join JOHCM and very excited to get started in building out a more systematic approach to using data to support investment teams. There is vast potential in this area for JOHCM and Regnan”.
Nikolaos will be based in London and report to Andrew Parry, Head of Investment at JOHCM and Regnan.
