The London office of Gateley Plc, the legal business of law-led professional services group Gateley, has launched a Private Wealth offering in the city with the appointment of partners Richard Jordan and Mark Pearce and continues to grow its Corporate client team with the appointment of partner Oliver Harker.
Richard Jordan joins Gateley Plc from Irwin Mitchell, where he was head of the London Private Client team. Richard has over 20 years of experience in providing tailored tax and succession advice to HNW Private Clients, Families and Family Offices.
Mark Pearce also joins from Irwin Mitchell, where he advised high-net wealth clients, often with international personal and business interests.
As well as the Private Wealth appointments, Oliver Harker joins the Corporate team from Weightmans, where he advised clients on a wide range of transactions including complex cross-border mergers and acquisitions, private equity, joint ventures and capital markets and specialised in a range of industries including energy, trade and commodities, financial services and entertainment and media.
Head of office, Paul Hayward, said: "We're pleased to welcome Richard, Mark and Oliver to the team, not least because they all bring something new to Gateley’s London office.
“There has been continuous expansion in our London office in recent years and the addition of the Private Wealth team will mean even greater opportunities for our client base here. The experience and well-respected reputation that Richard and Mark have previously built in this industry will be of huge benefit to our clients. We have also recently recruited two further associates into the Private Wealth team in order to provide a strong base on which to build.”
