Nikita Gibson is the Managing Director, Insurance Operations at Geneva International Insurance Inc. (GII), a Barbados-registered 953(d) life insurance carrier serving a global high-net-worth clientele. In this highly strategic leadership role, she oversees the end-to-end design, governance, and execution of international private placement insurance solutions, with a focus on regulatory alignment, cross-border compliance, and the long-term integrity of separate-account structures.
She also serves as Senior Vice President at Clarity Life Insurance Ltd., a Barbados-domiciled non-953(d) carrier, where she leads the development of tailored life insurance strategies for high-net-worth individuals, delivering solutions centred on generational wealth, asset protection, and efficient global planning.
As a Partner at Castalia Consulting Inc., Nikita brings deep technical expertise in risk management, actuarial analysis, and regulatory strategy. She advises financial institutions and corporate clients on emerging industry risks, modelling frameworks, and governance enhancements helping organisations build resilient, data-driven approaches to decision-making.
A former Commissioner of the Financial Services Commission (FSC) Barbados, Nikita has contributed directly to the regulatory oversight of Barbados’ financial sector. Her governance footprint extends across several national bodies: she is a Director of Invest Barbados, the Caribbean Actuarial Association, BIBA – The Association for Global Business, and the Princess Margaret Secondary School, where she serves as Deputy Chairman. She also sits on the Boards of multiple privately held Barbadian companies.

Nikita holds an MSc in Actuarial Science from Heriot-Watt University and a BSc (First Class Honours) in Mathematics and Economics from the University of the West Indies, Cave Hill Campus. She is an Associate Actuary with the Society of Actuaries (USA), Institute and Faculty of Actuaries (UK), and the Caribbean Actuarial Association.
Deeply committed to sector development, she has chaired BIBA’s Business Development Committee and actively contributes to its Banking and Insurance Committees. A passionate educator, she delivers regional training sessions and keynote presentations on life insurance, regulatory compliance, wealth planning, and financial literacy, and serves as a part-time lecturer at the University of the West Indies.
Beyond her professional life, Nikita dedicates her time to community impact. She is an active member of the Rotary Club of Barbados and supports a range of charitable initiatives, reflecting her commitment to nation-building and service.
