C. Hoare & Co. is a 12th generation family business. The eight Partners are descendants of the bank’s founder and we carry unlimited liability. As head of philanthropy, I lead what is done by the family, the bank, and customers to support charitable giving and social impact projects. This includes the bank’s donor-advised fund, The Master Charitable Trust. I am the Chair of Philanthropy Impact and particularly enjoy the mentoring of the next generation of philanthropists.
