Matt Briggs is a Partner in the Private Wealth team at Boyes Turner, advising UK and internationally connected families on tax, trusts and succession planning. He specialises in the intersection of personal wealth, family governance and business interests, supporting families to structure their affairs in a way that promotes long-term stewardship, cohesion and continuity.
His work spans cross-border estate planning, business succession, family governance frameworks and the design of wealth-holding structures, with a particular focus on practical, values-led solutions tailored to each family’s priorities.
Matt also advises on philanthropy and charity governance, helping families to structure their giving to achieve meaningful and lasting impact. He has served as Deputy Chair of the STEP Philanthropy Advisors Global Special Interest Group Steering Committee and has also acted as a charity trustee.
