Renowned British artist Sara Pope will be showcasing her signature artworks at this year’s Salon Privé, one of the world’s most exclusive luxury automotive events, set against the majestic backdrop of Blenheim Palace, the birthplace of Sir Winston Churchill.
Salon Privé is more than just a celebration of automotive excellence. Nestled within the historic grandeur of Blenheim Palace, the event blends rare vintage vehicles, cutting-edge hypercars, luxury retail experiences, and fine dining into the ultimate garden party. This year, it continues to elevate its cultural offering, inviting exceptional contemporary artists to exhibit. Sara Pope is among the standout talents featured.
Known for her bold, seductive paintings of lips and explorations of beauty and desire, Sara brings a distinctive voice to the intersection of art, fashion, and design.
“Salon Privé is all about the art of automotive design, where form and function meet beauty and craftsmanship,” Sara explains. “I definitely see a connection between a beautifully designed car and my own approach to painting.”
Drawing on a background in fashion and magazine art direction, as well as experience as a shoe designer, Sara’s work is rooted in aesthetics.
“When I paint, beauty is a very important factor, in terms of form, presence, and emotional impact. My painting process feels almost like sculpting. I’m shaping a three-dimensional illusion from a flat surface using colour, light, and shadow. Just as a car designer crafts something visually striking and emotionally resonant, I aim to do the same through my work.”
Salon Privé guests will have the opportunity to view and purchase Sara’s artwork throughout the event, which runs August 27–31, 2025 at Blenheim Palace, Oxfordshire.
