Altum Group, a provider of Fund, Corporate, and Family Office solutions, hires John Everett as Group Chief Risk Officer (CRO).
John joins the senior leadership team and has responsibility for developing and overseeing the risk and compliance framework, ensuring all processes and systems are compliant with the Group’s risk management framework and applicable regulations and standards. This includes leading and developing the Group’s risk management culture and driving and maintaining a sustainable risk culture across the entire organisation.
Having spent more than 20 years in the financial services sector, John has a strong background in regulation. He was the Deputy Director General of the Jersey Financial Services Commission, following a career at the UK Financial Services Authority where he led the team responsible for policy and authorisation of investment funds.
