Accuro makes two Board appointments
Accuro, the owner-managed multijurisdictional trust and family office business has appointed Mustafa Hussain, Private Office Legal Counsel, to the Board of Directors of Accuro Holdings UK Limited with immediate effect. In addition, Jonathan McKay has been appointed to the Board of Directors of Accuro Trust (Switzerland) SA.
Mustafa joined Accuro in January 2019 from leading International Law Firm Taylor Wessing LLP, where he was a corporate partner for several years. Mustafa is an English qualified lawyer and has also completed a notable secondment acting as general counsel to the family office of a prominent Middle Eastern family in London. Known for his aptitude in crossborder structuring, experience with trophy assets and commercial and cultural insight, pragmatism and diligence, he is a trusted advisor to a number of families and their privately controlled businesses.
Jonathan who joined the company in June this year as Client Services Director, brings a wealth of technical and academic experience to the Geneva business. Jonathan trained and qualified as a pensions lawyer with DLA Piper UK LLP in London in 2008 (to include a secondment to the London Stock Exchange), prior to moving offshore to work with Carey Olsen in Jersey as a pensions and trusts lawyer. He has over 10 years of experience in Fiduciary Services, latterly holding the position as “Head of International Fiduciary Services Business Control Unit” at Standard Bank, Jersey where his day to day responsibilities included the management and oversight of their trust business in Jersey and Mauritius. He has also recently completed an MBA.
