Shapero Rare Books is pleased to announce the company’s move to new premises
Shapero Rare Books is pleased to announce the company’s move from their current Bond Street bookshop and headquarters to the landmark building at 94 New Bond Street, opening in early July. This new flagship store, housing the company’s headquarters, bookshop and galleries, will have over 8000 square feet, creating the best possible experience for visitors and welcoming them to the world of rare books and art in the heart of London’s Mayfair.
Customers still love to come into the shop
Bernard Shapero says: ‘At a time when many businesses are moving online or away from shops into offices, I believe it is important to keep a strong presence in the heart of London. Our customers are both local and international collectors and they still love to come into the shop and talk to us about what they are searching for to grow their collections. Even more importantly though, we regularly attract new customers and to them location is key. London continues to maintain its position in the international rare books and art world and as such we have to show that we are open for business’.

Shapero Rare Books will welcome visitors to their new, landmark building continuing to offer an exceptional selection of antiquarian and rare books, manuscripts, maps, prints and artworks. Bibliophiles will be able to immerse themselves in over 6000 rare items from the 15th to the 21st century. They can discover a world of literary treasures, some of the most magnificent natural history books, accounts of daring voyages around the world, guide books and travel photography, manuscripts ranging from early Islamic works to Modern typescripts, and artworks for all tastes and pockets.
