David James Wealth (“DJW”), the financial advice group built exclusively for elite performers in sport, music and business, this year marks ten years since its founding in 2016. The milestone caps a decade of consistent, organic growth for the group, which looks after £400m in client assets on behalf of high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth individuals across the US and UK markets.

Ten years ago, David James Wealth set out with a simple observation: elite performers earn differently, spend differently, and retire earlier or change careers more than almost anyone else, so their financial planning needed to look different, too. The Group has experts in investments, pensions, mortgages, and estate planning, providing clients with a well-formed team that looks beyond investment returns to understand what success truly means.

James Reiss, CEO and Co-Founder of David James Wealth, comments: “I co-founded David James Wealth with a deeply held conviction that the financial advice industry needed a genuinely client-first advice business that could combine deep expertise, scalability and consistency. Too often, clients were served by either small, independent financial advisors or large consolidators. Our clients, many of whom are entrepreneurs, wanted something different. At the centre of our offer is our understanding that their careers can peak quickly, but also end even faster.
These clients needed an exceptional team of experts around them who could grow with them. The decade of building David James Wealth has taught me that this doesn’t happen by accident. It takes patience, real investment in people, and a culture where the team’s collective expertise always comes before anyone else. The next ten years are about doing more of exactly that, for more people, on both sides of the Atlantic.”
DJW’s growth has extended beyond the UK. Since entering the US market in 2023, David James Wealth USA has built a dedicated capability for dual UK-US taxpayers and internationally mobile clients, a client group that faces some of the most complex cross-border financial planning challenges of any HNW segment.

Last year, David James Wealth USA launched a new Model Portfolio Solution (“MPS”) to serve dual UK and US taxpayers. One of only a few on the market, the DJW Global MPS supports US citizens who live and work overseas and are subject to complicated reporting requirements.

With a transatlantic client base, David James Wealth USA has seen increased demand for new investment tools that support citizens on both sides of the pond. According to Home Office data, 8,790 American citizens applied for UK citizenship in 2025, an all-time high and 42% higher than 6,192 in 2024.
The new MPS, the first created by David James Wealth USA, was developed by James Reiss (CEO), Thomas Quinn (Managing Director), Kevin Kennard (Managing Director) and Colin Beveridge, Investment Consultant to DJW USA. Today, the Group remains independently owned. It serves individual HNW clients, including multiplatinum award-winning musicians, acclaimed actors and actresses, internationally capped sportspeople, and CEOs and Founders of global businesses.
