Citywealth Leaders List, 60 second interview – Stella Strati, Patrikios Legal
This week’s 60 seconds Citywealth Leaders List interview is dedicated to Stella Strati, Partner – Head of Corporate and Private Client at Patrikios Legal.

Tell Citywealth readers a bit about your role.
I advise high-net-worth individuals and families on private wealth structuring, estate and succession planning. I also handle corporate and tax matters, as well as sanctions related advice. My role often involves coordinating with advisers across multiple jurisdictions to ensure clients’ structures are robust, efficient and aligned with their long-term objectives.
What does a typical day look like for you?
No two days are the same. My day usually starts early – I wake up at around 5:30am and begin with exercise, often enjoying wakeboarding when the weather allows. I typically arrive at the office around 8:30am (after doing the school drop-off) three days a week, while the other two days I work from home. In the evenings, I like to unwind by spending quality time with my family or occasionally going out with friends.
Tell us about some recent, interesting client instructions/requests you have received.
When you work with high-net-worth individuals, “interesting” tends to become part of the daily routine. A typical day may involve the sale of a mega yacht, the acquisition of a private island or the purchase of a beachfront property in Limassol!
What challenges do your clients face and how are you helping your clients to overcome them?
Many clients have different types of assets (including digital assets), family members and tax exposure across several countries, which can make succession planning complex. My role is to help simplify these structures, ensure legal certainty and create well-designed trust and estate frameworks that protect wealth and facilitate smooth intergenerational transfer.
What is your proudest professional achievement?
One of my proudest professional achievements has been leading my firm, Patrikios Legal, to be certified by the National Certification Body of Cyprus for the implementation of best practices for gender equality in the workplace. Creating an environment that genuinely supports equal opportunities and empowers everyone to thrive is something I am deeply committed to.
What do you consider to be the most important attributes for a leader?
The most important attributes for a leader are empathy and leading by example. Understanding your team’s perspectives and demonstrating the standards you expect helps build trust, respect, and a positive working culture.
Who do you most admire and why?
I most admire strong and empowered working women who successfully balance multiple roles – as professionals, mothers, partners, and individuals with their own hobbies, interests and passions. Their dedication, resilience, and ability to manage so many responsibilities is truly inspiring.
Where was the last place you travelled to for work or pleasure?
London for work. It was an unusually sunny week in March, something which made my trip worthwhile.
If you weren’t in this industry, what else might you be doing?
I would probably be doing something related to the performing arts or sharing my love of dance with others.
How do you relax after a long day?
A hug from my children always does the trick. Also, wine is always a good idea!
