Citywealth Powerwomen Awards – USA Programme Anchored in Global Mission

Citywealth has launched its Powerwomen Awards USA, forming part of the fifteenth-year celebration of the global Powerwomen Awards, which honour women leaders in wealth management worldwide.

Established in London in 2011, the awards broadened their reach to North America in 2020 and now accept entries from individuals and organisations across the globe.

Progress in Representation

The Citywealth Powerwomen Awards recognise both individual excellence and firms that back women through inclusive leadership, caregiving support, and career advancement.

• In the UK, the Women in Finance Charter recorded female representation in senior management at 36% in 2024, up from 35% in 2023.
• Globally, women now constitute just 23.3% of board seats, with 8.4% in board chair roles and 6% as CEOs. Without greater momentum, gender parity in these positions may not be achieved before 2038.
• In U.S. financial services more recent data show that women occupy approximately 18% of C-suite roles globally, a significant but limited increase.

The Citywealth Powerwomen Awards 2027 – USA will spotlight American women while reinforcing the awards’ global purpose: to create a platform that shares best practices, inspires collective progress, and drives social influence across the wealth management sector.

Citywealth Forum USA

On the same afternoon, Citywealth will host the Citywealth Forum USA, a dedicated event tackling the key issues shaping wealth management. Panels will cover trusts and investment strategies in volatile markets, the evolving wealth landscape in Latin America, the challenges of managing and transitioning major art collections, and the rapid rise of women’s sport as a billion-dollar investment class. Designed for senior professionals, the forum offers practical insight and peer-led debate alongside the Citywealth Powerwomen Awards USA, making it a flagship gathering for the industry.
