Karen Jones
Karen founded Citywealth after a career at News International, The Times, and Sunday Times in the legal, financial and recruitment sections. She also ran the Legalease flagship title Legal Business/Asia Pacific Legal 500, and launched Legal Business Awards and Legal 500 events.
She founded Citywealth in 2005 and her work as a Citywealth founder and CEO was recognised by multiple awards, having gained no less than eleven Stevie awards in total, with four gold awards amongst these – Female Entrepreneur of the Year (2017) , Most Innovative Woman of the Year – Business Services (2023) and Woman of the Year – Business Services (2024). The growing development of the Powerwomen Awards USA was recognised by another gold Stevie award in the Achievement in International Expansion category in 2024.
Karen’s contributions to business were also noted by the London Chamber of Commerce & Industry SME London Business Awards, presenting her with a silver Business Woman of the Year award in 2024.

Mary Chan
Mary Chan is a Market Executive for the Metro New York Market at Bank of America Private Bank. Mary works closely with her team to support the overall growth of the business by deepening existing relationships; broadening the Bank’s reach to high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth individuals, families, and institutions; and maintaining close collaboration with other lines of business.
She enjoys mentoring and coaching the Advisors in her market, supporting the expansion of their practices through tailored strategies that align with each client’s needs. Mary is also responsible for hiring the next generation of talented Advisors, providing them with the tools and techniques to thrive.
An experienced private banker and market executive, Mary began her financial services career in 1989. She offers a strong background in business development, relationship building, and team management. In her last post as the Regional Managing Director for J.P. Morgan Private Client, she built out the New York region by stabilizing and coaching her team during a challenging integration period. With multiple decades of experience in the financial services industry, including roles at First Republic Bank, HSBC Private Bank, and Citi Private Bank, Mary has cultivated a loyal client base and garnered the respect and trust of bankers she mentored.
Mary holds a degree from Yale University and has completed executive education at Harvard Business School. Fluent in Cantonese and proficient in Mandarin, she is actively involved in philanthropy, serving currently as a trustee for the Chinatown Health Clinic Foundation. As a life-long learner, she studies acting and is particularly drawn to the art of stand up.
Paulina Mejia
In my work with the firms largest clients, as well as those with the most complex needs, I bring my expertise in working to align families’ legacy goals with their trust and estates wealth transfer strategies and planning, with an emphasis on next generation education and philanthropy.
I also lead the development and implementation of the firm’s Women & Wealth Program and am responsible for the firm’s national attorney outreach strategy, focusing on in its integrated and collaborative delivery of fiduciary and investment services.
In addition I speak and write on a variety of issues relating to wealth transfer and legacy planning. I am a member of Fiduciary Trust International’s management and operating committees and also serve on Fiduciary Trust Company of Delaware’s board and well as Fiduciary Trust International’s DEI Council.
Ronni Davidowitz
As the head of Katten’s New York Private Wealth practice, Ronni G. Davidowitz understands that listening and being responsive are two of the most important services she can bring to her client relationships.

Ronni is actively involved in the prestigious American College of Trust and Estate Counsel as a fellow, upon completion of a five-year term as State Chair for Downstate New York. She serves in advisory roles for several not-for-profit organizations, including the Trusts & Estates Committee of UJA-Federation of New York. She is a member of Katten’s Executive Committee and Board of Directors. Ronni has been consistently ranked in the Chambers High Net Worth guide and recognized for her work by Best Lawyers in America and Super Lawyers. She has received numerous awards, including Woman of the Year, Inspirational Woman of the Year, and Champion of the Year from Citywealth. She has also been named to Citywealth’s lists of Top 50 Trust Litigators and Polymaths and Top 100 International Powerwomen.
