Pre and post nuptial agreements

Providing advice to a family, where two daughters have got married, but wanted the protection of pre-nuptial agreements ahead of the weddings and then subsequently wanted post-nuptial agreements after they were married.

Prior to the marriage they had assets of ¬£2-4 million but following the marriage they each were gifted further family assets so their respective wealth was around ¬£10 million each. Due to the type of agreement it was important to collaborate with the lawyers for the respective husbands and work with them to finalise both agreements to everyone‘s satisfaction and to give protection to the family assets, but also ensure there was provision for the husbands if the marriage did come to an end, to ensure that the agreements had the best chance of being upheld.
