Linzi is very intelligent and knowledgeable, and has the vital ability to be fully across every detail of her cases and use that to inform insightful tactics and advice. That is then coupled with her truly brilliant manner with clients, which is absolutely top-class – Linzi is wonderfully empathetic and, crucially, cares in a way that is unmatched. Clients quickly know that she will understand exactly what matters to them and that she will not back down from any fight, while also giving them pragmatic and firm advice as necessary. I have recommended her many times, and I will always continue to do so.

Linzi is simply excellent. She is on top of the law, a shrewd tactician and brilliant with clients. She is also very skilled at dealing with difficult characters on the other side. Linzi is a big name in the field for a reason and someone you want on your side. As counsel, I could not recommend her more highly!

Application for parental orders
I acted for a gay father in his successful application for parental orders in an international surrogacy case. I was able to persuade the judge that he was still in an ‘enduring relationship’ with his husband, despite having issued divorce and financial proceedings as well as emergency injunctions.
Cross-jurisdictional divorce
I acted for the husband in a cross jurisdictional dispute, where the wife had issued an application for a divorce in Africa and then moved to England where she issued fresh divorce proceedings The wife then stopped engaging in the African proceedings and did not tell the English Court of their existence in her Petition. The client obtained his divorce in Africa and costs, partly on an indemnity basis, when the wife’s English applications were dismissed / withdrawn.
