Peer review:
Richard is a class act. Brilliantly clever and very experienced he instils confidence in the most nervous client. He is totally committed to getting the best result for his clients be it to negotiate a settlement or litigate. His clients adore him and are lucky to have him in their corner.

Case Studies

Children's court case - seeking financial support for the benefit of a child

Richard dealt with an appeal of a complex schedule 1 matter where one party refused to engage in the proceedings and monies from the sale of a business was ring-fenced onshore by the court to provide ongoing security for the minority of the children. The matter was further complicated by the former business partners of the payer intervening in the proceedings. Satellite litigation in the USA. (Schedule 1 of the Children Act 1989 applications are for circumstances where a parent is seeking financial support from the other, for the benefit of a child.)
