Case Studies

Multigenerational business and landed family

Clare introduced a fresh approach to this client by inviting the whole family to participate fully in the decision-making about their vision for managing their wealth for the younger generations. Our original client had acquired land and farms over several decades but is of retirement age with three children with their own young families. Two of them live abroad and their family assets include offshore trusts and overseas properties as well as the land and farms in the UK. Clare facilitated a series of conversations where the whole family discussed what they wanted to do with the estate in the future, where each of the families would live and the skills they would need to enable them to continue running their parents‘ land successfully.
