Festivities at the Ham Yard Hotel
Enjoy seasonal martinis, special offers on boutique shopping, and carols sung by the cast of Les Misérables all in one convenient location this December.

The Hotel will be hosting its ‘Carols in the Courtyard’ event on 6 December from 4-8pm. Taking place in the secluded Ham Yard Village, the event invites guests to shop, sing, drink and be merry with special offers, live music and refreshments on offer for attendees.
The boutiques surrounding the courtyard will be open late and offering all customers a little something extra on the night – from 10% off everything in-store to complimentary gifts with purchases over £50. For those who haven’t thought about their holiday shopping yet, perhaps this is the place to start!
Festive treats and mulled wine will be provided by the Ham Yard Restaurant to the soundtrack of some fantastic live music offerings. From 5-6pm, the cast of the West End’s Les Misérables will be performing carols to get everyone in the festive spirit. At 6pm, jazz musician Leon Garner will take over, playing out until the event closes at 8pm.
If you don’t want the night to end there, the Winter Martini Garden is now open at the Ham Yard Hotel. Set up on their fabulous roof terrance, the Garden is open Wednesdays to Sundays from now until 24 February. In collaboration with Sipsmith, the Garden will offer hot martinis and fire-cooked food this winter.
Upon arrival, guests will be offered a Paloma-tini, a warm Paloma-style martini, made with Sipsmith London Dry Gin, Suze and homemade grapefruit and thyme syrup. Settle in amongst the tartan blankets, hot water bottles and candles galore before unlocking your perfect martini via an interactive quiz. Guests can opt for one of the innovative new hot cocktails from the Ham Yard and Sipsmith bartenders, or go for a classic cold martini served tableside from a brass trolley.
Martinis made for the occasion include The Beekeeper’s Martini, which takes inspiration from the bees that are kept on the roof terrace and is finished with a puff of smoke from a bee smoker, and The Pharmaceutical, a warm, orange twist on an espresso martini and the latest development to this Ham Yard x Sipsmith classic.
The chefs at Ham Yard have also created a host of sharing dishes to order alongside the drinks, including ‘Ember Roasted Beetroot and Cashel Blue Wood-Fired Flatbread’, ‘Gin Botanical Cured Salmon, Crème Fraîche, Seeded Crackers’ and ‘Roast Scallops, Smoked Butter, Crispy Seaweed’.
Pre-book your place at the Winter Martini Garden here. There is no need to book in advance for Carols in the Courtyard, simply turn up on the night.
