Itama 45RS: restyling the classic
A contemporary restyling of the classic Itama 45S, this model adds modern innovation to the timeless appeal of its predecessor.
Designed in collaboration with the Ferretti Group Strategic Product Committee, led by Piero Ferrari, and the Group Engineering Department, this 13-metre-plus yacht maintains all of the structure and style of the Itama 45S. Imbued with the values and looks that reflect the brand’s signature style, this redesign offers timeless appeal, a sporty spirit and innovative technology that provides unprecedented liveability on board.
The 45RS shares the hull-integrated concealed hydraulic gangway and stern swimming platform of the previous S version, with a few updates. The stern area has been modernised with a change in the transom angle that brings sweeping dynamism to the exterior lines. Not only for aesthetics, this change to the architectural interplay creates additional space for a practical storage locker.
Walnut essence cabinet doors in the interior add a certain elegance and contrast against the white lacquered wood and teak essence flooring of the optional version and the carpet of the standard version. The combination of large windows and the finely detailed décor allows for a light, airy feel to follow you beneath deck. The 45RS can be ordered with the owner suite and a guest cabin, or just the owner suite to allow for a more spacious dinette.
The driving force behind the restyling of this model is elevated comfort and convenience on board. A trio of introductions – the cockpit table, the introduction of flush teak hatches on the foredeck, and a new bathroom layout – serve to increase the yacht’s liveability. Comfort, practicality and power are additionally ensured by the new design of the helm station dashboard. It boasts two 12-inch screens, a carbon instrument panel and a steel yacht wheel clad in either coordinated outdoor upholstery or done in teak. Itama 45RS has a top speed of 34 knots, thanks to a pair of Cummins engines rated 550 mhp. The compact propulsion system results in plenty of technical space on board and has in-line transmission, as is the case on most Itama models.
