Jersey Finance will bring together a range of expert speakers who will discuss the issues driving private client decision making and the challenges facing the international wealth management community at its Annual Private Wealth Conference on Tuesday, 27th September.

The conference, entitled ‘Change, Challenge and Opportunity’, will focus on how leading financial services businesses must continue to adapt to an ever-changing landscape.

In addition to contributions from specialists in financial services, delegates will also hear a keynote address from The Rt Hon. the Lord Patten of Barnes CH and an endnote presentation from Mary Portas, television personality and retail expert who delivered a high-profile government review of Britain’s struggling high streets.

The conference, one of the largest events in London’s private client industry calendar, is scheduled to take place on Tuesday 27 September at The Brewery in Chiswell Street, beginning at 12pm.

Joe Moynihan, Chief Executive of Jersey Finance, who will host the half day event and deliver an opening address, commented:

“The annual London private wealth conference is a showcase event for Jersey which attracts more than 500 UK delegates keen to learn more about our offering and to hear cutting edge thinking on the issues of the day which impact on the international wealth management industry. There is so much change and disruption at present in international financial services and we will be analysing this rapidly evolving environment during a series of presentations and panel sessions.

At the same time, there will be discussions on the role of International Finance Centres and an opportunity to present Jersey’s strengths as a jurisdiction, its enduring stability and reputation for probity. This is matched by a willingness to evolve in this shifting landscape for private client investment, which takes into account new thinking on ESG issues and advances in digital.”
