Simon Phillips appointed Guernsey country manager for Barclays
Simon Phillips will take up the post of Guernsey country manager for Barclays this month, to take overall responsibility for Barclays in the island.
Phillips joined Barclays in 2006, and has experience in the banking, family office, captive insurance and institutional sectors spanning more than two decades in London, the Isle of Man and Jersey.
Paul Savery, managing director for Barclays in the Channel Islands said: “I’m so pleased that we’ve been able to fill this important role from within Barclays.Simon brings tremendous experience, perspective and vision and will help us build on the positive momentum we are seeing across the business.”
