Russell-Cooke adds to growing charity team with new partner appointment

Law firm Russell-Cooke has welcomed a new partner, Pippa Garland to its growing Charity team. Pippa Garland will play a key role in Russell-Cooke’s cross practice Family Office Service.

Andrew Studd, a partner in the charity team commented: “We’re expanding our team to support our growing number of increasingly sophisticated clients. Pippa will strengthen the team and provide additional senior support, helping us to deliver the best service to our clients. She has already been recognised as a star and we’re delighted that she’s joining us.”

Pippa combines extensive general experience advising charities and social enterprises with a particular focus on charitable giving for high profile individuals, corporate foundations, and family foundations. As well as advising charities and social enterprises on issues including corporate structure, governance issues and fundraising. Pippa is also a trustee of charity FoodCycle and sits on the Public Affairs Committee of Philanthropy Impact.

Pippa joins from Bates Wells where she was a senior associate. She trained and qualified at Allen & Overy.

Pippa Garland commented: “I’m excited to be joining Russell-Cooke’s leading charity team. They have real depth of expertise and work with many of the country’s most prominent charities. I look forward to playing a part in enhancing what is already a very strong offering.”

Pippa’s appointment brings the total number of partners at Russell-Cooke to 63, including six in the charity team.
