Rebecca Goodman-Stephens joins Moses Singer as its first CEO
Moses Singer is pleased to announce the arrival of Rebecca Goodman-Stephens as the firm’s first Chief Executive Officer.

With more than 18 years of experience in business strategy and operations, Rebecca Goodman-Stephens has a strong track record of leading departments, services lines, and industry groups at several institutions and companies. She arrives from the accounting firm Berdon LLP where she served as the Chief Operating Officer.
At Moses Singer, Goodman-Stephens will formulate and execute Moses Singer’s strategic growth plan and lead the firm’s operational and administrative functions.
“We welcome Rebecca at a very opportune time,” said Dean Swagert, Moses Singer’s Managing Partner. “The firm is embracing a relatively new model of law firm management for mid-size firms, using experienced executives to run the business side of the firm and freeing lawyers to do what they do best – practicing law. An accomplished leader and innovative strategist, Rebecca will improve the delivery of legal services and overall client and employee experience, enabling Moses Singer to maintain and grow its position as a leading middle market law firm, benefiting our clients, employees, and communities.”
Prior to Berdon LLP, Goodman-Stephens was with Mazars Group since 2008, first as Chief of Staff in charge of strategy and operations in Paris before relocating to New York to spearhead the integration and growth of WeiserMazars. She also practiced as a business strategy and organization coach and consultant as well as a patient clinician specializing in cross-cultural psychology and pain management.
“I’m very excited to join Moses Singer, “said Goodman-Stephens. “The firm’s impressive 100+ year history and long-standing institutional clients are testament to its ability to withstand market trends and turmoil. The collaborative and entrepreneurial culture are an ideal fit.”
Goodman-Stephens earned a specialized Master of Business degree Strategy, Management & Business Operations from ESCP in Paris and earned her license as a clinical psychologist from L’école de Psychologues Practiciens in Paris, specializing in cross-cultural studies and organizational psychology. A polyglot and lifelong learner committed to ongoing executive education, she holds certificates from several institutions, including Harvard, Columbia, and Wharton. Her philanthropic activities include serving as Mount Sinai’s Seaver Autism Center Associates board member.
