The holiday season officially began last week and as it did Peter Buffett wanted to celebrate along with his fans and peers alike and present them with a new charitable online holiday advent calendar during the month of December.

Paying homage to traditional advent calendars of the past, this features 24 doors that house gifts of entertainment as well as suggestions for all to help make a difference and benefit others during this time of year. Each day Peter will be offering tracks from his beautiful holiday album, Star of Wonder, festive vlogs, and a first look at excerpts from his upcoming book, Life is What You Make It.

When you check out the website, you can see the wintery landscape artwork featured on this advent calendar was designed by Pennsylvania-based folk artist, Jessica Wasilewski, who recently underwent a bone marrow transplant at Memorial Sloan Kettering in New York City. Today, December 1st, the first door will reveal information on how to support The American Cancer Society Hope Lodge, which provided lodging for no cost to Jessica during her months of treatment.
