An ideal solution for those who want the privacy of their own home with all the amenities of a hotel, these cabins provide an immersion into a safe, contained community in one of the most untouched and spectacular areas of Britain. Choose a location to suit, personalise from a range of designs, then relax and reconnect in nature.
Just a few hours from London and close to the Suffolk heritage coast, Fritton Lake is home to a two-mile long lake and set amidst beautiful woods, wildland and wildlife. Enjoy paddleboarding, wild swimming, messing around in boats and the new Koto designed floating sauna. There’s also on-site tennis, volleyball, croquet and pétanque, an outdoor heated pool, yoga and fitness classes. Those who want a break from cooking can dine at the Clubhouse restaurant, where new head chef Chris Barlett, formerly at the Fat Duck in Bray, harnesses his passion for sustainable farming practices by creating delicious seasonal dishes.
In the heart of a thousand-acre rewilding project, Fritton Lake is at the forefront of WildEast - Britain’s first regional scale nature recovery movement. Dedicated to conservation, inspiring nature restoration safaris provide an active education in England’s natural ecosystems.
Bringing a taste of Scandinavian living to Fritton Lake, Koto’s beautifully crafted, architect designed homes are built with the utmost respect for the environment. Highly sustainable, they use a range of energy efficient solutions for operating, heating and cooling.
“We believe in both the ethos of Scandinavian design and in their way of living. Taking quality time in nature with friends and family is one of life’s great luxuries and so partnering with Fritton Lake on these new cabins was a completely natural fit,” said Johnathon Little, Founder & Director of Koto Design.
From choosing the location to the linen, off-plan property purchases at Fritton Lake are entirely personalised. A fun bespoke design service includes kitchen, bathrooms, room layouts and colours. Koto provides all the standard specification items and owners can select the interior furniture, fittings and finishes.
