O’Neal Webster has announced the expansion of its litigation team with the addition of Dan Wise, formerly Head of Litigation at Martin Kenney & Company, who joins as a partner in the firm’s Tortola office. Wise specialises in complex, cross-border commercial litigation and is admitted to practice in England and Wales, the British Virgin Islands, and St. Vincent and the Grenadines.

“Our group is extremely pleased that Dan is joining us at this very exciting period of expansion and as we explore new markets,” said O’Neal Webster Managing Partner Vanessa King. “He brings an extensive reputation for providing exceptional legal counsel and successfully representing clients in their high-value litigation matters. His addition will serve our clients well and confirms our commitment to providing our clients with outstanding service.”

At O’Neal Webster, Wise will continue to work with clients on significant cross-border issues, including those involving civil fraud and asset recovery, offshore disclosure orders, and commercial and regulatory advice. He frequently represents clients from emerging markets, such as the former Soviet Union, Nigeria, Brazil, Costa Rica, and Moldova. Among his notable cases is the removal of former joint-liquidators of Stanford International Bank and the nearly decade-long representation of the subsequent Caribbean joint-liquidators.
