Net Purpose, the platform for sustainable and impact investors, has announced two new key appointments to further strengthen the company’s product and revenue teams. The hires come after Net Purpose raised $11 million in a Series A round led by ETF partners.
Christine Siu has joined as VP Product. She brings a wealth of experience as an enterprise software product leader, having previously built a team from zero to seven product managers as Head of Product, International, for customer engagement platform Twilio. Christine started her track record in financial markets data products with seven years at J.P. Morgan, in roles including VP EMEA Product Manager and VP APAC Product Manager. At Net Purpose, Christine will drive the ongoing development of the Net Purpose platform, designed to help investors launch, grow and report on sustainable and impact funds.
Lauren Wright has also joined as VP Sales. Prior to Net Purpose, Lauren helped build company review platform Glassdoor, first as an enterprise Sales Executive in the US before leading its European expansion as Director, EMEA Sales, prior to its $1.2 billion exit in 2018. Lauren began her career in capital markets, and also helped to build software company Demodesk from Series A as their VP Revenue. At Net Purpose, Lauren will lead on client strategy and success, helping a growing range of investors across the globe to leverage the highest-quality sustainability dataset in the market.
Commenting on the appointments, Samantha Duncan, Founder & CEO of Net Purpose, said: “We’re delighted to welcome Christine and Lauren to our team and are excited to work together to continue enhancing the world’s leading platform for sustainable and impact investors. This represents a significant investment in our product and revenue teams, which will help us on our mission to make impact measurement effortless for all investors by 2025. We are also proud to have further built on the diversity of our senior leadership team.” She added: “Around $120 trillion is committed globally to invest sustainably, with allocations growing at 22% year-on-year*. Net Purpose is the first dedicated platform for this growing community of investors seeking profit and purpose and these hires are important steps in our goal to mobilise those trillions of dollars to achieve the UN Sustainable Development Goals.”
