Molitor, the Iconic Parisian Hotel, Opens one of Paris’ most-loved Roof-Terraces for the Summer Season

9 May 2019

April French Furnell

Molitor, the iconic Parisian five-star hotel, has officially opened its magnificent open-air roof-terrace and restaurant for the summer season. The opening adds to a momentous 2019 as the hotel celebrates its 90th anniversary year, commemorating a vibrant, creative history.

Known as being one of Paris’ best roof-terraces, serving food and cocktails with stunning views across the sparkling lights of the city with the Eiffel Tower on the horizon, Molitor’s roof-terrace is a must-visit destination for both tourists and locals alike. Overlooking both the city below as well as Molitor’s famous Art Deco outdoor pool, visitors can enjoy the relaxed vibes of this chilled-out suntrap whilst sampling an all-new extensive menu.

Molitor welcomes two new chefs this year: Chef Nader Hassan and Pastry Chef, Antoine Bouchard, who bring with them a new menu that revisits much-loved classics and flavours, with a modern twist. With dishes based around seasonal and organic produce - from mezze boards, salads to fresh seafood - the new sunshine-inspired menu is the perfect accompaniment to a hot summer’s day above the clouds.

A hedonist’s paradise, Molitor’s roof-terrace provides respite from the city’s hustle and bustle, complete with lush greenery and tropical plants giving the space the feeling of a garden in the sky, a harmonious contrast to the concrete jungle beneath. The ‘Sun, Music and Cocktail’ evenings, taking place every weekend, will see a variety of DJ’s taking to the decks at the roof-terrace, providing laid-back beats as the sun goes down and the perfect summer soundtrack. Accompanied by refreshing cocktails and an extensive wine list, Molitor’s roof-terrace is the ultimate spot to drink, eat or dance this summer season.

Molitor is located in western Paris in the 16th Arrondisement adjacent to the prestigious Roland-Garros tennis-courts, perfect for travellers looking to discover a different side of Paris.
