Magic Circle Awards 2022
Citywealth was delighted to register a great success for its 17th edition of the Magic Circle Awards, where leading professionals from the top firms were recognised for their achievements in the wealth management sector. Attendees included leading law firms, trust companies, family offices, tax advisers and investment managers.
The Magic Circle Awards 2022 took place in person at The Carlton Tower Jumeirah Hotel on 17th May 2022, with Katten as Patron Sponsor. After a champagne reception, Toastmaster Paul Deacon invited all the guests to the ballroom where a gala dinner was served with a delicious octopus salad, an exquisite beef tenderloin with black truffle crust, followed by a delicate rum baba’ with vanilla chantilly.
During the night, Cityweath’s Editor and CEO Karen Jones presented the first six awards, followed by Paul Mayhew Archer delivering an hilarious, yet touching charity speech for Maggie’s (Citywealth raised £6,500 for Maggie’s). Host comedian Emmanuel Sonubi took it from there, inviting the Magic Circle 2022 winners on stage and giving them the trophy, while a charity raffle and open bar ended the ‘magic’ ceremony.
