Magic Breakfast’s Magic Morning
Citywealth’s charity partner for the Magic Circle Awards, Magic Breakfast, are hosting a virtual Magic Morning on Wednesday 23rd June 9-10am for supporters to hear directly from Headteachers, beneficiaries, and others in their school communities about how a healthy school breakfast can make such a difference to so many schoolchildren.
This Magic Morning will focus on the role Magic Breakfast has to play in the education and recovery of the UK’s children post-Covid and you can register via Zoom here.
Joining the panel will be Rowan, 15, one of Magic Breakfast’s new Youth Campaigners, who attends a Magic Breakfast partner school in Edinburgh. Rowan has experienced going without breakfast in the past, and as she sees children as young as three years old going hungry in her building, she is fighting for things to change for the better.
Magic Breakfast’s Youth Campaigners will be launching as a group in the coming weeks and so Magic Breakfast is offering you the chance to hear directly from one of them for the first time, before anyone else! They will play a key role in bringing young people’s voices into discussions that impact their lives, and in campaigning for healthy breakfasts in schools.
If you are unable to make the event but would like to support Magic Breakfast in nourishing children to learn, please donate to support their vital work here.
