Grace Belgravia, one of London’s best known health and well-being club for women, has recently partnered with JK7®, a 100% natural and organic cosmetic brand made in Hawaii, to offer a range of face and body treatments.
Founded by Dr Jurgen Klein, creator of skincare brand Jurlique, and his wife Karin in 2015, JK7® marries the best natural ingredients with the latest technologies to repair, enhance and protect the skin’s long term natural health and beauty.
I was booked in for a 60-minute Detox Refresh Facial on a rainy Monday in November. The minute I walked in the Grace Spa, which is the well-being space within the Grace Belgravia club that offers treatments and relaxation, it felt like stepping into another world. The quiet and peaceful space provides an fantastic backdrop for top-notch treatments without the hustle and bustle of a city spa.
After cleansing, scrubbing and (bleurgh) blackhead removal, my beautician Elodie performed the world’s best lymphatic massage on my cleavage and arms while my face was covered in the JK7® Detox Face Mask that felt really soothing. A facial combined with a body massage and calming smell of essential oils is my idea of heaven.
The treatment concluded with an application of the Beautifying & Rejuvenating Cream that contains organic herbs including ginkgo biloba, chamomile, and marshmallow, and Secret Age-Defying Gel that helps curbing premature skin ageing. After adding a moisturising eye cream and a plumping lip balm, I was ready to face the world again.
My skin incredibly smooth and firm after the facial, and the radiant look lasted for two days. This is a perfect treatment for a New Year’s party or to give for Christmas to someone who’s got already everything.
