Laven Partners launches Redtower Global Macro Fund
Laven Partners, the London based investment management consultancy, has advised on the launch of Redtower Asset Management’s new currency fund, the Redtower Global Macro Fund.
The fund will be managed by Redtower Asset Management Chairman Gerry Celaya, who previously held senior technical analysis roles at American Express Bank, Bank of America and Standard & Poor’s MMS International, and Jane Foley, former Director of FX Research at Barclays Capital and Portfolio Manager at Saudi American Bank.
Gerry Celaya, Co-Manager, Redtower Global Macro Fund, comments: “We plan to exploit a wide range of macro-economic and geopolitical themes for the benefit of our investors. To make it possible for us to profit from the fastest growing economies we will be able to invest up to 80% of the portfolio in emerging market currencies. Now is a particularly exciting time for us to launch the fund as recent market turmoil has created a wealth of investment opportunities.”
Jér√¥me de Laven√®re Lussan, managing partner, Laven Partners says: “We have worked in close partnership with Redtower to facilitate a swift FSA authorisation and fund set up. Our extensive experience in the hedge fund arena means we can offer our clients practical advice on all aspects of launching an investment company or fund, enabling their team to focus on raising assets and their fund’s strategy.”
