Investec Private Banking supports female role models project
Investec Private Banking has partnered with The Female Lead, a new initiative created by entrepreneur and data scientist Edwina Dunn that promotes a wider spectrum of female role models to both girls and boys.
Consisting of a book, documentary series and teaching resource, The Female Lead features interviews of sixty inspirational women who are at the forefront of their field of endeavour and are shaping the world today. Each interview is illustrated with original photography by world-renowned photographer, Brigitte Lacombe, with accompanying video interviews by Marian Lacombe.
Among the sixty women featured in The Female Lead book are politicians and artists, journalists and teachers, engineers and campaigners, fire fighters and film stars. Some have led their profession, others have broken new ground for women and inspired change through relentless endeavour. The book tells the story of each of the women, their personal and professional journey in their own words and includes interviews and insights from Meryl Streep, Christine Lagarde, Leymah Gbowee, Ava DuVernay, Lena Dunham, Karlie Kloss, Jo Malone MBE and Dame Athene Donald.
