Hyatt’s Andaz London appoints new Director of F&B
Hyatt’s Andaz London Liverpool Street has welcomed Kerem Suner into its team as Director of F&B, responsible for all five of the luxury lifestyle hotel’s dining outlets.

Kerem Suner arrives at Andaz London with over 30 years industry experience under his belt, having most recently held the position of Director of F&B at Hyatt Regency Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, since 2018, and bringing forth knowledge from other recent ventures including director roles at Hakkasan and Harvey Nichols Istanbul, and opening his own restaurants.
With the overall goal of delivering outstanding customer service in all areas, Kerem will oversee the operations of the hotel’s five F&B venues: Rake’s Café Bar, Eastway Brasserie, Miyako, Lady Abercorn’s Pub & Kitchen and 1901 Wine Lounge. He will be responsible for the strategic planning of menus and costs across all sites, alongside ensuring proper adherence to quality and hygiene standards.
Kerem will also work closely with the events department, coordinating F&B services for all necessary functions held in the hotel’s diverse range of event spaces.
Passionate about leading a positive work environment, Kerem’s goal is to truly connect with both customers and colleagues through meaningful, unscripted interaction, blending in seamlessly with the luxury hotel’s core values. He aims to bring a high standard of quality to his role at the hotel, all while not compromising fun in the process.
Kerem comments: “Hospitality is truly my passion. Making guests happy gives me a world of satisfaction and reminds me why I keep climbing the ladder to work in great establishments like Andaz London. I believe in having fun while working hard and it is my firm belief
that a friendly team work environment contributes to success.”
General Manager at Andaz London, Mario Flanagan adds: “Kerem is an absolute delight to have on the team. Our whole F&B department and guests will strongly feel the positive impact of his introduction, and we look forward to seeing what he brings to the quite literal ‘table’!”
Kerem was born in Istanbul and has since experienced a number of widely different cultures – from growing up in Ontario, Canada, to moving to Switzerland to gain his Bachelor’s Degree in ‘Hotel and Restaurant Management’. Later, Kerem opened his own restaurants in Brussels and Istanbul.
After experiencing the wonderfully rich culture of Ethiopia during his time at Hyatt Regency Addis Ababa, Kerem now looks forward to experiencing the dynamic, fast-paced city of London as he joins the Andaz London team, and bringing forth inspiration from cultures all around the world.
He enjoys long walks in the city – when it’s not raining – as well as photography, visiting the art galleries London has to offer, and going to live concerts, where he can enjoy his other main passion, music.

CoCo Bonds, Clawbacks, and Credit Suisse. What next for private investors and sovereign funds?
The various scandals, rumours, and half-truths have made the financial markets jittery, and the fever with which information spreads, particularly bad, results in panic, even if unwarranted. Swiss sentiment said “It’s about time that a government has the intent to do the obvious, which at least means clawing back the misallocated “rewards” for bad management.”
