HMRC operational head of FIS offshore team to join Edwin Coe as tax director
HMRC’s operational head of Fraud Investigation Services – Offshore, Corporate and Wealthy, Dmitri Surendran, has joined Edwin Coe’s tax team as tax director.
At FIS, Surendran was responsible for leading the London team which undertook HMRC’s most serious civil tax investigations. He also managed HMRC projects in relation to the utilisation of offshore data. He joins Edwin Coe to advise clients who are subject to HMRC investigation in relation to direct taxes, including COP 8 and COP 9 cases.
