In a time of huge transition, they will provide a space to process the truth of our shifting reality, explore new ways to see and to be, integrate what we have experienced and make conscious supportive choices for our collective future.
Carefully curated by world-renowned and much-loved psychotherapist and profound intuitive Fiona Arrigo, along with her loyal team, guest teachers and expert practitioners, the 4-night/3-day retreats will be held in an exquisite private house in Somerset surrounded by beautiful gardens. Each offers a layered programme of therapeutic treatments, body and breath work, exploratory conversations, nourishing food and a chance to reflect, refuel and renew.
For the first time, The Arrigo Programme will team up with Nici Harrison founder of The Grief Space to curate a profoundly nurturing retreat centered around an immersive exploration and integration of grief, which touches us all - arriving in the relationship that ended, the death of someone we love, the regrets or unmet hopes we hold or the loss inherent in the changing reality of our world right now. ‘The Medicine of Grief’ approach advocates a new understanding of grief – which does not need to be fixed but instead needs to be deeply felt, witnessed and ultimately transformed. Through one-to-one healing, group work, meditation, bodywork, ritual and personal reflection, participants will be gently gifted the opportunity to shift and move their grief and develop a new understand of how they have been changed through growth by the companion of grief. With loss, so too comes learning, and so we adapt in sync with a post-Covid horizon.
The signature Arrigo retreat is ideal for anyone for whom pandemic/lockdown exhaustion has become a default setting, who needs time away from their family or partner, or who has simply felt very alone for too long. This retreat will offer tender care and deep support to repair the impact of the past year. It has been designed for those keen on examining the narrative of the new and finding ways to integrate the personal and social changes that have so deeply affected us. Fiona’s work, as ever, is about unearthing the wisdom in our experiences. Guests will be deeply nurtured with healing treatments, daily meditations and movement, sharing circles, expert talks and workshops.
Prices for The Arrigo UK Group Retreats start at £1,870 pp to include four nights, all meals and all activities. Treatments are additional and paid for on an individual basis.
Accommodation is in a beautiful private house offering swimming pool (summer only), jacuzzi, sauna, tennis courts, bikes and walks.
