George Jatania and Historic Royal Palaces hold Kensington Palace profile raising party
Mr George Jatania and Historic Royal Palaces threw a party at Kensington Palace to invite influential guests to view the Palace privately.
Supported by Lornamead, Ragasaan, LookHoney.com, Praefinium, Butterfield, Fisher, Innerplace concierge, LDC, Simon J Lycett Ltd, Encee Academy and Kaushik Bathia, the event saw several hundred guests arrive in Rolls Royces to be offered champagne and then taken on a tour of the Palace before enjoying delicious Indian food by caterer Ragasaan whilst watching Indian dancers.
History of Kensington Palace
William III and Mary II wanted to live in fresh country air, away from the damp smoke of Whitehall, so they commissioned Sir Christopher Wren to build Kensington Palace. The Palace uses William’s Royal Coat of Arms with the family motto “I will maintain.”
Historic Palaces receive no funding from the Government or the Crown so depend on the support of visitors, donors, volunteers and sponsors.
Fund raising is taking place to improve Kensington Palace. These will be new gardens and landscapes, new courtyards, cafes shops and places to be. New ways to explore Kensington Palace stories and new educational facilities.
